Early start to spring break - at Dollywood

We decided a day off school wouldn't hurt anyone, and we headed to Dollywood before the spring break crowds invaded tomorrow. 

I HIGHLY recommend getting the all-season photo pass. We ended up with a ton of photos just from one day from the numerous rides. The pass lets you save every photo from every day in the park for the full season, for less than $80. It was so worth it. 



















It was nice to be able to jump on rides multiple times in a row due to the low crowds in the park. Everyone was pleasant and the day was perfect. I love that we can continue to make these memories together as a family, leaving all of the outside stuff at the gate as we scan in.

Dollywood Golden Event - Passholder Day 2022

This year at Dollywood, there are special Golden Events for Gold and Diamond pass holders. Today, Dolly came to the park to kick off the season with a media event.  Diamond and Gold pass holders had to register to attend the event, and it filled up quickly. Once we arrived at the event, we were given pink butterflies and pom poms. The Diamond pass holders were given front/center seating in the Celebrity Theater, while Gold pass holders were filling the other seats.  After a warm-up performance by one of the park bands, the lady of the hour came onto stage to thunderous applause and cheers.  Dolly welcomed everyone and then shared news about her new novel with James Patterson called  Run, Rose, Run . An album was also released, and a movie is in the making. She is also hoping to film a movie at Dollywood later in the year.
